First Day In Frankfurt
Today was my first official day in Frankfurt! I finally met my other classmates in person, no Zoom this time, and it was lovely! Everyone is from a little bit of everywhere in Birmingham. We met our CEPA representative, Ilya. Then, as we waited for the others, we got our luggage and hopped on our charter bus. Ilya did an excellent job telling us about Frankfurt on the bus ride to the hotel. We checked in and rested before we were on the move for our first tour in Germany!
Ilya had us go from cable bus to cable bus. It was so fun, but I was squished and too close to others. We met John, a tour guide, who told us about financial literacy in Frankfurt. He was knowledgeable and made sure to break everything down so we could understand it to the fullest. Then it started raining, and I didn’t have an umbrella, so I got soaking wet from the top to the bottom. With all of that happening on the first day of the trip, I wouldn’t change it for anything. It was informational and fun! I can’t wait to see where the rest of the world takes you!
