Farewell London!
Today was the last day at London. I really enjoyed every minute in this city. I enjoyed seeing all of the cites in the city. It was exciting to understand how U.K. financial markets worked. Even though the U.K. financial markets is somewhat to the U.S., they still look up to them. The United States economy effects the U.K.’s. I also enjoyed the many sites we visited such as the Lloyd’s of London and Tower of London.
The first thing I did to start off the day was going to the hop-on and hop-off bus. This bus allowed me to view nice sites in the city such as St. Paul’s Cathedral, multiple museums, and Kensington Palace. My favorite thing that I saw was the the Still Water Sculpture. The sculpture was a head of a horse being upside down.
Lastly, we had a farewell dinner at the Britannia. Britannia offered a three course meal that included carrot soup, chicken, ham & leek pie, mash, vegetables, and gravy. For dessert were served lemon tart with ice cream. My favorite part of the three course meal was the ice cream. The ice cream had a very soft texture with a taste of pure vanilla extract.
